Mr. Frank Hoagland has dedicated most of his life to protecting the interest of national security. His life has revolved around supporting other people’s interest in helping them find a better way to keep their business and families safe. He had a very rewarding 21 year career as a Navy SEAL and upon retirement, became the premier subject matter expert (SME) that made him a highly sought after individual among his peers and leaders.
The professionalism and expertise that he brings has made tier one units that are national asset commands recruit him into their premier operational command in the Navy. In true fashion he excelled in this job as an assaulter, demolition/breacher, mobility and maritime high-speed assault crafts expert. Towards the end of his career the command leadership sought after him to build a program that will ultimately help and save operators lives from difficult entries into buildings and ships. This course is now the most sought after training for both military and law enforcement professionals.
Upon his retirement Frank worked with government DoD and corporations serving as a team leader executive protection and risk management. His skill sets as a master in unconventional warfare and clandestine operations helped him to coordinate and conduct Test and Evaluations (T&E) of specialized firearms systems that helped with training courses and defensive tactics.
Mr. Hoagland is personally responsible for numerous technologies utilized by today’s war fighters. Between deployments as a counterinsurgency team member he was a key consultant that aided in the development, coordination, and construction of the US Training Center, the largest government contractor facility for DOD SOF along with federal/state/local law enforcement and civilian agencies.
Mr. Hoagland was handpicked by the Department of State to develop and execute courses of instruction for Crisis Response Team and the US Navy’s Maritime Mission Vessel Boarding Search and Seizure mission.
Currently he holds a Top Secret security clearance. His duties include him as a government appointed project manager, senior project engineer and test director in overseas clandestine counterterrorism theaters. He Maintains oversight of projects employed in war zones around the world and recommends what would improve these programs to succeed in their mission. These programs have him regularly interacting with high-level executives on how to integrate operational planning and strategies in high threat areas.
S.T.A.R.T. LLC has been in existence since 2005 but just in the past four years Frank has been focusing on building his company. He believes in people helping people, so he has brought his expertise back to his home state and is helping a school district in the protection of our kids and faculty members. Of the work that Mr. Hoagland takes on, risk management is priority as it helps to maintain a safe working and learning environment.
